In the glory days of ancient Roman, Imperial Legions marched under Golden
Eagles to the far corners of the known world.  When the empire fell to
barbarian hordes, the Dark Ages followed.  Now a new Dark Age threatens to
eclipse mankind for all time.  The Eagles must march again.
TRANQUILITY UNDER THE EAGLES

At his grandfather's urging, Grey Waters
accepts an appointment to the West Point
Military Academy where he can learn the
leadership skills he'll need to challenge the
Arikhan.  Before long, Grey finds himself in
a world of teamwork, sports, and personal
rivalries unimagined during the years when
he was growing up alone on the moon.  But
everything changes when the Northern
Alliance launches a secret voyage to Mars
and includes Kris Fairfield on the mission.  A
mission to attack a suspected Arikhan
outpost the soldiers are ill-prepared to
challenge.  To save the woman he loves,
Grey gathers his forces to take up the fight.
It's 2072 and the eagles are ready to fly.
Author's Note:
Life in the future is not all weapons and robots.  People still go to school, compete for the
same girl, envy the accomplishments of others, and play football.  For the first time we get a
glimpse of Grey as he might have been had his upbringing not been so extraordinary.
BENNY HAVENS OH!
Benny Havens was a tavern
located south of West Point where
cadets would sneak off for a good
meal and a pitcher of beer.
Famous patrons included
Jefferson Davis and George
Armstrong Custer.  In 1838, a
song was written about the
tavern, long since torn down, that
is still sung at West Point today.
Writing stories isn't all fun & games.  Sometimes you actually have to do
